A person who intends to manufacture or import an Existing active substances

Any biocidal product or treated article distributed in the Republic of Korea prior to December 31, 2018

② Approval of Active substances(Biocidal substances)

A person who intends to manufacture or import active substances

Biocides intended for use in biocidal products

③ Approval of Biocidal products​​

A person who intends to manufacture or import biocidal products

Biocides products intended to be sold or distributed in Korea​

④ Compliance of Safety standards and Lamelling standards

​A person who intends to manufacture or import treated article

Biocides treatment products intended to be sold or distributed in Korea​

  • Active Substances: Chemical substances, natural substances, or microorganisms used to remove, neutralize, or suppress harmful organisms

  • Biocidal Products: Products primarily intended for removing harmful organisms

    • Products composed of one or more active substances or a mixture of active and non-active chemical substances, natural substances, or microorganisms

    • Products that generate biocidal substances from mixtures of chemical substances or mixtures of chemical substances, natural substances, or microorganisms

  • Biocide-treated Articles: Products using biocidal products for purposes other than their primary use, such as removing harmful organisms
